Share a story
I’m interested in hearing from you. If you have an experience with Fr. Ron that you can share, use the form below to send an email that briefly describes it and we’ll go forward from there. (Any information you provide may used later, but will NOT be published on this website.)
Realizing that there are a variety of perspectives, and wanting to achieve a more balanced portrayal of the man (or the project), I welcome a diversity of information that won’t result in a “one-sided” story.
Maybe you’d like to relate your information personally; or put something in writing; or refer me to a picture, video, or other form of documentation, or even another person. Remembrances can include (but not be limited to):
- Personal conversations with him
- Correspondence to/from him
- Travel experiences with him
- Humorous stories involving him
- Recollections of him as mentor, friend, pastor, and any other personal relationship
- Special occasions honoring him
- Examples of the impact of his actions — as a priest or as a person — in a group, the parish, our nation, or the world
- Pictures/videos of him
- etc.
In short, anything related to Fr. Ron that might help reinforce the memories of those who knew him, and to introduce him to those who never knew him at all.
You are invited to send information, or speak with me, more than once. I was inspired to this project in 2017 and am aiming to complete it mid-2022. So I hope you’ll respond sooner rather than later.
Who am I?
My wife and I are former parishioners of St. Mary of the Annunciation. We, along with many other people, were fortunate to know Fr. Ron as pastor and friend. As members of several ministries and committees during the project’s six-year span we experienced the mystery, challenges, joy, disappointments and satisfaction of those years. Now, two decades later, I have embarked on an effort to gather information for the purpose of sharing that experience so that others might learn more about it and perhaps benefit from it.
